If the moon hit your eye like this big pizza pie you’d certainly know about it!
YouTube star Airrack (USA) teamed up with Pizza Hut up to make the world’s largest pizza – one that’s a colossal 13,990 square feet (1296.722 square metres).

Their ambitious cooking project blew the previous record of 13,580.27 square feet (1,261.65 m²) away.
But don’t worry, it wasn’t wasted since after the successful record attempt, the pizza was divided up and donated to organizations all throughout Los Angeles.
Over 8,800 pounds (3991.6 kg) of cheese, 13,653 pounds (6,192.8 kg) of dough, 4,948 pounds (2,244.375 kg) of sweet marinara sauce, and 630,496 pieces of pepperoni were used to make the enormous pizza.
On-site at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the pizza was entirely put together, topped, and cooked.
The raw ingredients were adhered together forming a single pizza, which was cooked in sections. This was done according to the guidelines, which require that the pizza be prepared according to local food hygiene laws and in the presence of an appropriate inspector.
Additionally, for all record attempts involving food, Guinness World Records requires that the food be distributed or donated for human consumption, to avoid any waste. In this instance, we have received confirmation that the pizza was donated to charities that help those suffering from food scarcity in the greater Los Angeles area.
It was created to celebrate the return of “The Big New Yorker” to Pizza Hut, a New York-style pizza from the 1990s.
It takes its inspiration from the XL 16 inch pizzas you’d get in an authentic New York pizzeria – but apparently 16 inches (40.64 cm) wasn’t quite big enough for Airrack, whose real name is Eric Decker.
The record also celebrated Airrack reaching 10 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.
He said: “Thanks to my community, 2022 was a BIG year for our channel and I promised them that we’d break this record if they helped me hit 10 million subscribers on YouTube, so here we are delivering on that promise.
“To make it happen, we had to team up with the most iconic – and my favourite – pizza brand to show that NO ONE OutPizzas the Hut.”
And this isn’t Pizza Hut’s first Guinness World Records title, they also hold the record for highest altitude pizza delivery on land after handing a takeaway over at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania – that’s 5,897 m (19,347 ft) up!
Now if only there was a pizza box big enough so we could actually order one of these…
