One of the top North American outbound tour companies, Sky Vacations, has announced that it has joined ATTA, the world’s largest network of adventure travel executives.

The demand for adventure travel from our clients has grown over the past several years, and one thing is obvious: the definition of what constitutes adventure travel is evolving. Some people define adventure travel as scaling a mountain or skydiving. While that may be the case for some tourists, Richard Krieger, Director of Sky Vacations, explains that for others, it could mean snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, climbing in Japan, cycling in Puglia, camping in the AlUla desert, or rafting on the Ganges.

“As a tour operator, we take the trust entrusted to us by our partner travel agencies very seriously,” says Krieger. They come to us for more than just fun and imaginative travel arrangements; they also want us to uphold the greatest standards of responsibility. The uniting philosophy of community and common belief in sustainable and responsible tourism embodied by ATTA are ideal complements to our ethos.

The Sky Vacations portfolio is always changing. We are eager to continually expand our product offering as the world and our industry change. E-bike tours in Portugal, cruises in Antarctica, and safari excursions in Tanzania are upcoming events. We won’t stop there, either. We improve as our performance is increased by increased demands.

Sky Vacations is happy to be a part of ATTA and the approximately 30,000 members of the international travel community that it represents.
