According to a Balls & Strikes analysis, President Biden has nominated a record number of diverse judges to the federal judiciary, with approximately 65% being individuals of color.
The publication discovered that five of the 97 federal judges who have been confirmed are White men and 22 are Black women. Compared to 42% under former President Barack Obama and 24% under former President Donald Trump, female judges make up 66% of those confirmed.
Horace Cooper, co-chairman of Project 21, criticized the Biden administration on Monday for its apparent preference for diversity over excellence and merit in its nominations.

He added on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that the Biden administration and the progressive movement in general “are seeing this idea that we just need to transform the court in a way under color.”
“I use that phrase in a contradictory manner by implying that we are attempting to make the legal system more like America. The fact is, though, that we are finding individuals who are neither talented nor highly trained, but who understand progressive vision like the back of their hand.”
America ultimately “suffers,” according to Cooper, as a result of this conduct.
Sen. John Kennedy, R-Louisiana, and Charnelle Bjelkengren, a candidate for the Biden judicial team, had a conversation that host Tucker Carlson highlighted.
