Meet the Hunt dynasty, owners of the Kansas City chiefs, and one of the richest families in America
The Hunt family is one of the wealthiest families in America. Their fortune came from H.L. Hunt’s early investments in American oil.
His son, the late Lamar Hunt, was a founding member of the American Football League and owner of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Grandson Clark Hunt is the current CEO of the Chiefs — who are going to the Super Bowl this year.
For the first time ever on Sunday, an all-female team will do the military flyover prior to the start of the Super Bowl.
According to ABC’s “Good Morning America,” the four pilots who will coordinate the diamond formation prior to the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles game will celebrate 50 years of women pilots in the US Navy.

One of the four pilots, Navy Lt. Catie Perkowski, said, “But for me, as a football fan, when I received the call to do the Super Bowl flyover, it’s almost like a dream initially for someone who loves the NFL.”
Navy Lt. Suzelle Thomas who previously became the first woman to qualify directly to fly an F-35C, told GMA that she “did not believe it” when she was selected.
Perkowski told the GMA that she didn’t join the Navy to be a “female pilot” but just a pilot.
“What it boils down to is that we trained to do this job together,” she said. “I didn’t join the Navy to be a female fighter pilot. I joined the Navy fighter pilot, so to me it makes no difference.”
